Our Policies


 

Your experience and our stylist’s schedule are important, so we book plenty of time to give you the best service. Please provide 24 hours notice when you have to cancel your service. A cancellation fee may apply to missed appointments and late cancellations (see below). Please check with our front desk staff if you have any questions and we’ll be glad to help.

 

 

BOOKING

To hold a reservation, you must provide a valid credit card or gift certificate number. Salon Dexterity will not charge your card unless you miss your appointment or cancel inside the 24-hour window preceding your appointment time, at which time you will be charged the full amount of your booked service (see Cancellation Fees below).

 

RUNNING LATE

As soon as you know you are going to be late, please call the salon so we can alert your stylist. Depending on your arrival time, your service may need to be adjusted to fit the remaining time reserved for you. We will always accommodate as much of the appointment time as arrival time allows.

 

CANCELLATION FEES

1st time – It’s on us! No worries… We all get busy and forget!

2nd time – 50% due. We hate that you missed your appointment… As a favor, we will only charge you half.

3rd time – 100% due. We miss you! But our stylists have been waiting…

 

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply.

 

As a courtesy, we will call and confirm your service appointments two business days prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and any cancellation/no show fees.

 

DEPOSITS

Some services require deposits due to the cost of supplies and/or the large amount of time required by your stylist(s). Examples include bridal parties, extensions and specialized treatments. The amount of your deposit will be shared with you and collected at the time of booking.

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Services: We want you to love your service. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact our salon manager within 3 business days to discuss your experience at [email protected].

 

Products: Unused and unopened items purchased from the salon may be returned within 30 days of the original purchase for a full refund. If your purchase was made more than 30 days prior or has been opened/used, you may be able to exchange the product or receive a salon credit. Please discuss with the salon manager to determine the best option for your situation.

 

Gift Certificates: Purchases of gift certificates are a final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your purchase, please contact the salon manager to discuss your options.
