Who We Are

Salon Dexterity is a commission-based salon with a base pay guarantee. We work on a leveling system and all operational aspects of the salon have a clear structure that makes us successful. With every level increase comes a service price and commission percentage increase. Our well-structured system offers a clear, organized plan to guide each stylist to success. 

The SDX team is a strong, supportive and caring team that is always ready to jump in and help with every client that walks through the door. We are partners with three local charities that help human trafficking victims, cancer treatment patients and underprivileged children. We support each other as a team, thrive on structured systems, strive to maintain a positive and fun culture, always seek education, and give back to our community.

Our Salon

The SDX framework enables stylists to create independent success while working within a commission-based salon. We have a proven system of goal-setting, budgeting, marketing and decision-making tools that apply to all aspects of our business. This system enhances our focus and hones the entrepreneurial skills of every driven SDX stylist.

Each member of the SDX team is focused on growth and improvement. From our salon coordinator to the most experienced stylist, all roles invest continuing education hours each year inside and outside of the salon.

Once a level of expertise is reached, an SDX stylist has the opportunity to become an Educator inside the salon. Through the Associate Program, he or she may be paired with a newly graduated stylist to mentor for the duration of the 6-month program. This is a leadership opportunity that also is financially beneficial to a stylist.

Qualifications/Requirements

Salon Dexterity has an opportunity for an experienced, team-oriented stylist to join our salon. Our stylists are scheduled for a 32-hour work week, with a flex schedule that may be used upon approval. All stylists are expected to go through an onboarding process based on previous knowledge and skill. 

• State of Texas Cosmetology License 
• Must present a polished, professional image
• Outstanding hospitality, communication, problem solving and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in high energy, fast-paced environment 
• Meet full time scheduling requirements
